Inspired by the natural world and local environment, Gill enjoys working in a wide variety of media.  Gill says she finds working with digital media particularly rewarding as there is always something new to learn and try out.  It is both convenient and challenging, but never boring.  An iPad is used to both create finished pieces, but also to sketch from life.

A founder member of Cricklade Art Group, Gill studied art at A Level as a mature student and has undertaken a number of short courses.  Beyond this, Gill is largely self-taught, learning by trial and error in most cases!  Living in Wiltshire, the surrounding countryside and delightful towns and villages are a constant source of inspiration.
